AT LAST: The Daniel and the Sun Sword COVER REVEAL

Well folks, here it is at last! Let me know what you think…

Daniel and the Sun Sword Cover for Cover Reveal

Thirteen-year-old Daniel is about to be adopted. But when he learns his new family wants him as a slave, he runs away with the help of his new neighbors, the naïve and cowardly Ben, and Raylin, a mysterious girl with a shady past. He begins to second-guess his decision, however, when the cave they hide in transports them to the ruins of Machu Picchu, where they find themselves embroiled in a battle between ancient gods of Life and Death. To top things off, the God of Life draws Daniel into the fray by adopting him as his son and setting him on a quest to complete a broken, mystical sword, a task that will pit him against the god of the underworld.

Now, Daniel and his friends have just one weekend to find the shards before a hoard of supernatural enemies catch up. But that’s not all they face. A trap has been set that even Daniel wouldn’t expect, and he just took the bait. Will the power of his Heavenly Father be enough to save them?

Daniel and the Sun Sword will be published by Ellechor Media in JULY 2015.

Cover Reveal for Author Ashlee Willis

Mailchimp Image without words

Last year, I interviewed Ashlee Willis, author of The Word Changers. Well, she’s done it again! I’m excited to share the new cover  and summary for her upcoming novella A Wish Made of Glass, which will be released this summer.

AWishMadeofGlassFinal

A Month and a Half-ish Out!

I know, I know. I’ve been REALLY spotty with posts over the last few months. Every spare second has been either wrapping up pre-publication stuff, writing the next book, or planning for the release. Not to mention everything that goes along with  daddy-ing,  husband-ing, and working.

Daniel says no

Anyway, here’s what to expect over the next month:

  1. Final cover reveal.

  2. Instructions for Pre-Ordering…This will either be done through Amazon or through my own website. That’s TBD by my publisher.

  3. Info on the Release Party at Barnes and Noble.

Also, I will be hosting a cover reveal for one of my author friends this coming week, so be on the lookout. She has a new book coming out that looks awesome.

OLD NEWS

As some of you know (those who are receiving my Newsletter),  Cover Design Has Begun! It’s been FOUR years since I began writing the Sons and Daughters series (and ELEVEN since I began writing period). Imagine how much I’ve fantasized about what my book would look like on a shelf at a bookstore. That day is almost here and I’m stoked!

The artist has often worked with Ellechor Media in the past. Here’s a screenshot from his website, and I hope you’ll head on over to check out his gallery at http://dewestfineart.com/home.

NEW NEWS

Last weekend I received the first mockups for the cover and THEY LOOKED AWESOME!  (more…)
