Marketing! Marketing! Marketing!
On Sunday night, I attended a marketing meeting with a few other Ellechor authors. It was super informative and a bit OVERWHELMING. I always figured that after I got accepted by a publisher, the rest would be easy sailing.
NOPE!
The publishing and marketing processes are like learning new professions. So, in addition to giving you updates, I’m going to begin blogging about the process (and progress) of getting Daniel and the Sun Sword to press each week, beginning with how I began writing and taking you all the way up to where I am now. And hopefully I can take some of the mystery out of getting published for those of you interested in becoming authors yourselves.
Update on Timeline
Rochelle with Ellechor recently updated me on the timeline for editing and publishing. Apparently I am slated to begin the editing process sometime in March. They hope to have Daniel and the Sun Sword completed by the middle of the summer so it can be sent out to reviewers before it comes out in November 2014.
