Marketing! Marketing! Marketing!
On Sunday night, I attended a marketing meeting with a few other Ellechor authors. It was super informative and a bit OVERWHELMING. I always figured that after I got accepted by a publisher, the rest would be easy sailing.
NOPE!
The publishing and marketing processes are like learning new professions. So, in addition to giving you updates, I’m going to begin blogging about the process (and progress) of getting Daniel and the Sun Sword to press each week, beginning with how I began writing and taking you all the way up to where I am now. And hopefully I can take some of the mystery out of getting published for those of you interested in becoming authors yourselves.

Thanks for the comment! I look forward to writing about my journey through this process and hope it’s helpful. I was also thinking about doing a contest on the blog in a month or two (after the site gets up and running and gains some momentum). Maybe something for other authors in the Wiregrass who would be interested in getting their work posted on the site if selected. What would you think about that?
