Updates: A Tale of Two Daniels

Personal Update

Well, he’s here! Early this morning I welcomed the first of two Daniels to arrive this year. Daniel Reid Lumbatis was born around 7:30 a.m. and was 8 lbs. and 20.75 inches. Mother, baby, and his two big sisters are doing just fine. The name is not a marketing ploy for Daniel and the Sun Sword FYI. I finished writing the book before my second daughter was born about 3 years ago (before we knew we’d have another child, much less a boy), and my wife picked out the name for a hypothetical son when she was 12 years old. It just kind of happened.

Writing Update

1) Daniel and the Sun Sword is still due for arrival this summer! Yeehaw!

2) This past weekend I had a call with Ellechor’s marketing consultant.  Lots to do.

3) Daniel and the Triune Shield, my current project and the sequel to D&SS, is nearly completed! The first draft, anyway. Just hit the 300 page mark last Thursday.
